4. Analysis:

NovaStar has released a new module for the heaviest of mecha. The aptly named Tech Support module brings exactly that (technology and support) for any pilot who equips this module on their ride.

When looking for a cockpit module the primary attribute desired by a discerning pilot is a Precision boost. Tech Support has got that covered as it generates the highest possible boost currently available on the open market for 100 ton mecha and is only exceeded by one other module in the 105 ton class.

The secondary systems in the unit consist of a trio of control and optimisation subroutines for the mecha. Firstly, power shunts give a boost to the 2X overload capacitors to increase the frequency of the generation of overpowered salvos.

Next a prioritised repair listing for onboard auto-repair nanobots sends the repair units to critical systems creating a more efficient damage control result. An additional vector prediction algorithm is included to aid the A.I. avoid the likest avenues of incoming enemy fire.

NovaStar has introduced these modules at a discount in order to make them readily available for pilots. There is also a company sponsored scavenger hunt. Pilots who search around the galaxy may find hidden modules that have been scattered in many areas.

4. Analysis:

One of the highest precisions available at the markets make from this cabinet module an essential gear for any Huge or BGM in the 80 to 95 tonnage rank that had precision deficit or a limited amount of cockpit slots.

The precision alone is already reason enough to keep acquiring some, but this is not all that this excellent piece can offer.

Fork 5% is without any doubt the best additional extra this gear can offer. Stacking more will grant a decent chance to double hit your opponent's squad for double score.

Stack them on Anubis, Antithesis, Dreadnought or Torrents to get max profit from its whole abilities as from the damage enhancement.

Summarizing: Outstanding Precision, decent fork and additional minor bonus skills.

New Equipment R&D.

Rowe Incorporated has just released a new Engine module that is ideal for deployment on their Daemon mecha and others of similar weight. This is one of very few Niode based equipment modules to be produced in the Clarke Federation as they are still developing their research, industrial and manufacturing base.

Although the main portal to the multi-verse has closed the benefits of the unique energy found there is still paying dividends from research completed back in our own universe. The Cold Fusion, Modified Energy Nanobot Driver system when added to an Engine booster module allows for repairs to continue even under fire. Secondarily the variable wavelength energy used is somewhat resistant to thermal effects giving a small boost to Fire Shielding. Lastly, and certainly not least, is a Speed boost that is the highest currently available on the open market for 70 ton mecha and still in the top percentile at the lower end of deployment at 50 tons.

During field testing a small shipment of these new modules were stolen by individuals who are assumed to be members of The Children of the Stars. Any information on this heist should be forwarded directly to the Federation Rangers.

4. Analysis:

Quantum Pulse is one of the very first stunning pieces of rare equipment only acquirable through the Mystery Vortex. As all special vortex items, has a low chance to drop that turned from this piece a luxury, that made to some wealthy pilots expend virtual fortunes trying to obtain as many Quantum Pulses as it were possible.

Through its outstanding augmentations (double and triple damage at +5%)  and high speed (+11, among the highest rates for a BFM), this engine enters in the Wish List of any elite pilot. His double and triple have a great synergy for Mechs that currently had in build augmentations, like Fexts, Pikes or Camerons, but also makes it always welcome on any of your favourites BFMs.

Despite being an amazing piece for the above mentioned skills, this engine has also an additional bonus to threat caused by fire (7%) or missiles (6%), making from this one the best engine for any BFM built as flamer or ballistic and particularly effective with top BFM series like the Humbaba and the Notos classes.

In summary, virtually every BFM makes the better with this miraculous piece of high tech, making from it one of the must have for every hard tech. Don't miss it if you plan to fight the really bad boys!
